Helping Hungry Kids of Northern Virginia believes all students should be set up for success. Our mission is to ensure that food insecure elementary aged school children have meals and snacks to sustain them over the weekend.
During the 2022-23 school year, HHK provided more than 18,000 weekend food bags for children at seven local elementary schools. Each bag contains 10-12 shelf-stable items that an elementary school student can prepare. We provide breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks for a child for the weekend.

Your support and contributions enable us to feed the future and fund our mission. Since 90% of contributions go towards food-insecure children, you can feel good about where your money goes.
Our future depends on continuing assistance from loyal supporters. HHK is seeking new sponsors and business partners who may contribute by providing donations, holding office/school/neighborhood food drives, or hosting benefit events.
